sweet sweet brothers...

I had to share more of Aimees sweet lil ones. I just loooove these in the bed. The boys were so cute and were counting babys fingers and toes, looking at her belly button. Then mom was playing peek a boo behind the footboard to make them smile. Man the things we do for great portraits...hey I think it was way worth it!

Update...on poppaw

Surgery went great and he is at home doing awesome. He is such a tough old man! Again, thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. He will do regular check ups to keep tabs on the cancer, now we can only pray for this to be healed and to not grow anymore.

Finally got the pictures to load! I am glad we had this one day of fun in the snow...but man I am sooooooo ready to be outside in the warm sun! I defiantly have Spring Fever!

let it snow...let it snow...finally!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope all of you Nashvillians had soooo much fun in the snow! I was happy to get one great snow this year. The night before we played board games and watched out the window waiting for it. I was glad the kids did not get disappointed this time! It was a perfect night. Of course the kids were up at 6am ready to play...they did and i slept :) I have some beautiful pics to show you but my blog wont let me upload anymore right now??? I will work on that! This first picture is so peaceful to me. One of my neighbors had planted this baby christmas tree by the creek and I just couldnt resist to capture this scene. Isnt is just perfect?

I have just a few more openings left in March~mainly during weekdays~ I will offer a two for one deal for anyone that books this week for the rest of March. You and a friend can "share" a session for the price of one session. So each of you will receive about half of the time. I have had requests like this before and always say ~no sorry~ so bloggers feel special~

The day is near..

So many of you have called and emailed me about my poppaw, thank you so much. It is sooo nice to know that people are praying and just care! Tomorrow he will have the radiation seeds inserted into the prostate. They say its a pretty easy procedure and blah blah...ya know when anyone you love is having a "procedure" is it easy? I dont think so. So anyway, it is tomorrow. I am sick that Im not going to be there but my mom will be so that is a blessing. I ask for prayers that God puts his hands on him and heals him, He comforts my mom and mommaw during the procedure and that He gives the Dr.'s the knowledge to make this work!!!

the OH BABY! SHOW

Here is the booth! I will tell you my dear hubby gets all of the credit for this one. He worked alot of hours getting this ready and then had to set it all up. Have I told you how much I adore him? :) He is the best

We had a great day and got some great response from the attenders. I think it showed my style of work well and its nice to hear when people like it. I met so many wonderful people and am excited to work with many of you!

All of Gods Children...a new program by MJ Photography

I have been wanting to start a new program..so I am. I wake up daily thanking God for the blessings he has given me. My beautiful healthy family, a church I adore and a business that I still have to pinch myself about. Never would I have thought he would bless me so much in this business. I have had the honor of photographing so many wonderful children and families. My clients become my best friends, their kids become my new sweeties. I am truly amazed at his Grace. IF I was rich (money wise ) :) I would do this for free but since Im not and I have two kids to put through life and a house to pay for and blah blaha I have to charge for this. But there are so many families out there that can not afford me and I know this. So for now on I will offer one session a month as the "All of Gods Children" session. Anyone can nominate a child for this. Children that are sick, fighting battles most adults cant imagine, teens that cant afford to have Senior pics done, a single mom that works hard but could never pay for custom portraits. Yes, all of those people deserve it and I want to hear about them. I will give each a free session, a 4x6 proof of each image and a bunch more of goodies, that I will figure out soon :) SO please tell everyone, send in your nominations and lets share the blessings that God has given us.

I am also offering discounted sessions to anyone that has adopted a new child within a year and would like to capture this time. More info coming on that. I am still offering the free sessions for elderly people also....see old posts for more info.
