Downtown Nashville with a ton o'photographers...

On Sunday I met up with a bunch of local and not so local photographers in downtown Nashville. We all met on a online photographers forum and decided to meet up. So of course what do photographers do but take a ton of pictures and talk camera talk. I hate to admit that I took less than 100 images (which isnt alot) I just wasnt feeling it. :) yes me...not in the mood for pictures...

Meet the H children

I had the great pleasure of meeting up with this great young family on Saturday. Yes, it was a bit cold and yucky but we made the best of it! The poor kiddos were not crazy about the cold grass and such but I bet you cant tell in these images!
Lil A was such a sweetie and dont you just love her tutu! I love it when kids show up in a tutu! She and I quickly became pals and she gave me a beautiful purple flower! THanks A!

This is her handsome brother. Let me tell you if you need to know anything about Star Wars, this is your guy. He quickly got me up to speed on the new things in Star Wars...im a bit behind!
The creek water was so high so we just watched from above.

Snap Kids Model Shoot

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting some amazing lil peeps. They were all so well behaved and so darn cute!! I will be working with the new boutique childrens clothing store Snap Kids. just 4 days old and oh so loved..

Well today I officially took Lil H's newborn images. He is now a whole 4 days old and man I miss him when I am not there :( Mom and Dad are worn out but as you can tell from these images he slept great for Aunt Mandy! hehee

A newborn will bring you closer to God. When you watch one come into the world and look at the amazing lil features on their bodies~ well simply it is amazing. Every inch, every hair and toe just in the right spot. Wow! He just knew exactly what he was doing and how each part has a job and how when we are seperated from our moms we just work...ok sorry for that rambling. I have been shooting since 830am and Im exhausted! sooo anyway I have had many many request to see more of this lil man so here he is....................now I only took 455 images today, so I will be going back tomorrow.........i know a bit over the top!

Ok STOP reading if you dont want to tear up. Well maybe its just me and Im the one who took these, the next two just make me weep. I guess if you knew how long I have known Aim (since like 6th grade) and how we have always loved each other and been there for each other, if you knew that her wonderful hubby has been waiting (patiently) for Aim to be ready tohave kids (we all wondered when it would be) and if you were there.............if you knew all of that maybe you will weep too!!!!

This would be the "Aunt Mandy its been 3 hours please get that large black object out of my face and just hold me" face....so I did :)

A wonderful, crazy, fun family...

...maybe that is why I like them so much. They are just like mine!!!!!!! I do not do many large groups but I have worked with this family many times and love them all! They are super sweet and fun! We were all cold, well I put a hoodie on, so they were all cold! :) But the rain did stop long enough for us to get our images and head back inside for homemade cookies and treats. ummm Thank you Mrs H~ yummy cookies! The backyard is so phenominal it should be in Better Homes and Gardens. WOW!!

boy...boys...house full of boys...

Yesterday in the cold yucky rain I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Mr. A and baby B. Their very sweet mom drove them out to meet me and we had a blast. ABout 10 mins before they pulled in I realized my lights were not working so we used all natural light in the studio and A and I went out and froze, well I froze he loved it!! I think it was so worth it, he was such a fun sweet boy. We talked about race cars (which you can barely see in the wagon, lil yellow one), we talked about picking flowers and mainly talked about what a BIG boy he is!! I could of hung out with them all day!

Baby B stayed in the studio where it was nice and warm. He was rudely awakened by my camera in his face. Sorry B! But he like his brother did wonderful and we got some wonderful new images for mom and dad.

I looooove this one of A. Shows how spunky he is!

See I knew he would warm up to me :) Look at that sweeeet smile! I know you just want to squeeze him.

Welcome to the world Lil H.D.E.!!

Remember that beautiful belly of my longest dear friend..look what was in there. A beautiful healthy perfect baby boy! Yesterday I had the pleasure of being there to welcome this lil angel into the world. OF course with a camera in his face all day :) He didnt seem to mind..yet. Aim did wonderful and so did hubby! He is perfect and loved so much already!

Yeah. after many years of waiting I get to be a aunt to one of my dearest friends babies...yeah me :) You will see lots of lil H~ so be prepared to watch him grow.
