Sorry I have been MIA..........its crazy busy and I am trying to get caught up. All of those waiting on your galleries....promise Im working on them!

I met this lil sweetie recently. Miss A~ is just Adorable! She is got the cutest lil smile and laugh! We had so much fun and she had alot of very sassy poses for me! Her aunt is a long time client and Im thrilled to meet more of the family. Thank you ladies for a great morning. Enjoy your sneak peak!

A rainy day....

This family has been customers since day one of my business. They are dear to my heart and I have watched Lil J grow up, our first session was when he was about 3 months old and now he is a Big Boy and a Big brother! They live in Atlanta so I dont get to see them that often, so anyway the day of our session it was very rainy and kinda yucky so we just stayed on the front porch.



This is my new favorite picture...........I know I say that alot.......but I do mean it! This just "whispers to my heart"..........if you knew just how gentle this Grandad is and how he is sooo patient and so loving with these boys. Actually with everyone, he is just an awesome Ole' soul!


THis is Lil B~ he was not feeling well and was not into me AT all~ which you all know I just cant stand it! So I tried all my tricks but not today! You can see in Grandma's hands~yes blackmail...cheerios...didnt work either......but I did get this lil sneak grin! But I think the image above was worth the whole day!!
Anyone that knows "J" knows what his favorite thing is.....one guess....its green.....loud....and Granddaddy has alot of them....yep...John Deere Tractors....
We took his picture on this porch a long time ago...wow how he has grown!
So after just a few minutes we decided today was just not going to be our day. So we go inside and pack up the camera, and the adult talk begins....well we look over and this is what we see. Yes, you know a babe is sick when this is what he does all on his own........so sweet and pitiful!
Boys~it was soo good to see you and I look forward to your next visit! Lil B I sure hope you are feeling better!!

Friday I had a great time meeting all of these great families! We had a beautiful day at the park and I am pretty sure all of the kids had a blast running around. Thank you all for sharing your families with me, here is a quick sneak before I am out of the studio for a few days.

Boys are made of alot of things, but lil angel was all laughs and giggles and fun! I enjoyed every moment with him and his sweet mom. He has piercing blue eyes and the cutes lil face!

Meet beautiful Miss P

This young lady has eyes that will make you stop in your tracks. She is just beautiful! This is the first time I have had the pleasure of capturing her young spirit and I enjoyed every minute of it! She is so spunky and so sweeet!! Thank you ladies for a great morning and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

loveeee this session.....

I am lucky that so many of my clients "get" me. That you all like my style and you dress your kids the way I love, you let me do my thing. Well as soon as I pulled up at this new location I knew this mom "got" it. It is now my new fav location in Franklin. I cant wait to go back. Then when Miss L got out in this adorable outfit I was a happy camper! Some may not realize that clothes can make or break a location, but its so true. So Ms. E~ you are my client of the week :) Maybe I should make you a certificate :) ha! Anyway, Im just thrilled with all of L's images. They are beautiful. Just get ready you are going to have a hard time deciding!

Introducing ...Miss L~ known for her fashion style, her love of all 'pretties", dislikes are messy hands and well just anything dirty. Such a diva!
Isnt this bridge just divine! I am ready to go back and shoot some more there. I just love it! It doesnt hurt that there is an adorable pumpkin on there!
I usually dont show my favs on the blog...but I had to share this one with everyone. It just whispers to me....such a sweet moment and bond with mom!

sometimes being a photographer isnt good.....

once again..i am in pursuit of a portrait of my two babes to go over my fireplace. Mind you Ihave been trying this for 2 years now. See there are many problems that arise....
1. they are over photographed and hate it
2. being near each other is just too much for one human to bear
3. i am their mom
4. we always fight over the clothes...
5.bribery has even quit working
6. with your kids i can say something stupid and they laugh well with mine they just look at me like i am stupid...( note in pics below the stupid looks)
7. fake smiles.....................
8. 100 images of mouths moving..." you said only one more.... he is hitting me......hold on im texting..."
9. i totally only have patience with them for about 15 mins and with your kids I can go for well over an hour
10. really do i need more........

here is my beautiful (handsome) son ~ he will be 13 next month and that make my heart ache~I am so thankful for these years that God has given us with him, he is a true kind soul (unless your his sister) still hugs me tight ( not in public) and has the goofiest sense of humor that is priceless..

i happen to looooooove this image of my mini~me. i am a bit unsure about the ribbons in her hair..are they distracting? i love her somber look in this. she has the worse fake grin so these soft looks work best for her (note fake grins in later photos)..she is 9...yes my baby is 9...can I still use the term "baby fat" ummm probaly not. dang. ok well she is the best lil mother you have ever seen. i plan on renting her out this summer for babysitting, so kind and so sassy :)

so bloggers.......which one of the two of them do you like the best? these are the best of the best...i dont think they will make the mantle but we will see...oh and yes i know you are sick of the yellow field but Im quite addicted to it and probaly will continue until the sad day I see them mowing it all down :(
